Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Minister of Youth is to develop and implement a youth ministry for 6th – 12th grade that introduces students to Christ; disciples them in spiritual growth; and trains them to serve Christ with their life.
Personal Qualifications:
- A deep-seated relationship with Jesus Christ
- Clear calling to youth ministry
- Verifiable youth ministry experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following, with other duties that may be assigned by the Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church:
- Lead and coordinate age-appropriate programming for students
- Maintain an active presence in local schools and at community events to interact and develop relationships with youth and parents
- Facilitate and oversee ongoing recruitment, training, and development of adult volunteers, in conjunction with the Youth Ministry Team and the church Youth Committee
- Coordinate the development and administration of an annual budget for youth ministry

Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from high school with three years of ministry experience. Preference will be given to applicants who hold an undergraduate degree and have previous experience in youth ministry.
